Jacinta Shailer is by birth a Queenslander, by choice a Sister of the Good Samaritan, by profession a teacher, by wonderful chance a wood carver and photographer, and by passionate interest a lover of Australian wildflowers and outback landscapes.
Jacinta loves the world of nature, and her journeys provide her with
opportunities to use her gift for photography which was fostered during a
twenty year stay in Japan. Her current fascination is with the beauty of
wildflowers and landscapes. Jacinta's books - Mountains, Mists and Mystery
(1995), Symphony of the Seasons (2001), and now Wildflower Journey
Prayers, reveal the wonder of God's creation in all its splendour.

Black & White and Coloured Clip Art
My art career began in Commercial Art. This work was
brought to studios, the press and multi-national Companies over many
years. I then moved to freelance work doing design, commercial and
architectural illustrations. I also taught art in Secondary School and
TAFE Colleges in three Australian States.
I have created from murals to
cameos. I now have the leisure of using my art in devotional
illustration and design image. -Tony Kiely
